I am a hugely experienced, professional piano player (weddings a speciality), accompanist, arranger, composer, musical director and teacher, based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. I am completely comfortable working as a sight-reader or by ear. Whether you require someone to play “from the dots” or to improvise, neither are a problem. I also have extensive experience as an accompanist and rehearsal pianist for music theatre shows, instrumental and vocal exams, and choral work. My recent musical director work has included productions of Buddy Holly, Doctor Dolittle, and West Side Story.

I particularly specialise in providing wedding music throughout the North of England. If you would like to hire a band for your wedding or function entertainment, I have a pool of musicians from which I can assemble your bespoke band line-up.
Whether you would like female or male vocals, guitar, bass (electric or acoustic), drums, trumpet, saxophone, violin, viola, cello… it’s your day so why not construct your very own band to mark the occasion? Of course, it also goes without saying that you get to pick the songs that you want to hear, from pop to indie and rock, jazz to soul and funk… you could even join in if you wanted to – or just let us fill the dance floor for you!
